Alpha Centauri
The first ever place the humanities expanded upon The Sol. The oldest colony ever for sure. Many landscape has been occupied. It becomes less interested these days.
Alpha Centauri is located within the Terron Union, one of the Major Six states, serving as the capital. During the Major Six War, they are one of the great suppliers for manpower, sending troops to join along with Mulatos Democratic Republic and Kingdom of Raska.
Demographics
It has a densed population with approximately 6 billion people in total including on every planets in the system - some has even been terraformed beyond recognizable. Most of majority still hold much of the ancient earth nations, with single official languages.
The most populated out of them, Proxima Centauri b, has resembled the old fashioned landscape; Cities found on rivers with intercontinental highway. With little of ocean city on its surface. It uses the one system policy, meaning that Alpha Centauri are in fact the single entity, with Proxima Centauri b as the capital.
History
Only around 4 light-years away from Earth, it was undeniably the first target for the ancient earth nation to be considered sending ships to colonize. The near light-years acceleration was already possible and so it took around 5 years to arrive.
Surprisingly many planets there were habitable - some even positioned in the habitable zone, making them easier to settle. The first people to get there found cities upon cities, sending back valuable resources back as well. The confirmation was sent back to Earth via the DSC which was still in development.
Confederation Era
Seeing as the frontier of the sol, it was one of the colonies who was against the rebel. After the fall of Earth they fought at their best even though had no avail to the mightier force the enemies had.
