Planet Ella'mykor is giving birth to water creatures to keep their number exactly 50 000. If any of them dies, a new one is born on the planet.

Historical Basis

Nobody really knows how they appear and why there are 30 000 of them on the planet at all times. Even Elayesur don't know the truth themselves. They don't give birth or get separated into two new organisms.
