Personal history

Jean-Claude was the first if it's siblings to to be found on the shores of Exousía by Leonine Monks. These monks raised the young Roc until they were fit for travel, before prophets from the elemental plane of air gave them word that they are to be brought to Ómar Crún. They were destined to be the rulers of the tribes there, as well as the creators of a new land there.   The siblings were all brought to the massive, formerly snowy, mount of Incendies. Krocaa came to his divine children and assigned each of them a domain within the Jungle. Jean-Claude was sent to lord over the mountains to the North. Earth was his domain, because of his stubborn ways and stoic demeanor.   Jean-Claude was furious that his sibling the Elder Parrot was granted rulership over all of his siblings, due to his intelligence and diplomatic charisma. This jealously made him determined to help his siblings conquer this new land in big ways. Jean-Claude used this Determination to create the first Roc. The Roc made the Elder Birds the undisputed leaders of the Jungle of Feathers. The tribes that originally lived within the territory would Bow, or fall in a matter of months.   This achievement was lessened, however, when his sibling the Elder Parrot formed the first Aarocokra. This completely changed the way the Elder Birds began building civilization in their realm.   When the Imperium Aereum began attacking, even the strongest Roc were no match for Dwarven Gatlin guns. Jean-Tenébrès the Elder Crow and his followers began using the design of Dwarven war machines to create gunpowder and form the first firearms. While this wasn't enough to win the war, the gun-wielding Kenku Aarocokra became widely feared by Hill Dwarves civilians and Dwarven soldiers alike.   At the end of the war, the dwarven emporer had hand-crafted a set of bronzen manacles for each of the Elder Birds. They chainwd the once free-flying gods to the earth, locked within vaults in their respective cities. Then the Dwarves ordered one of the Elder Birds execution. The other Elder Birds voted and the vote landed on the Elder Crow. Jean-Claude's however, was set on the Elder Parrot.   The Dwarves ruled their territory for millenia, truly a shameful existence for Jean-Claude. He was forced to sit and listen as his creation, the noble Roc, were genocided to extinction.   The Elder Birds were also unable to do anything, when eventually the High Elves of the Red Lotus would flood into their Jungle. He watched hopelessly as the Dwarves threw their subjects into the meat grinder that was Gal'Galed's forces. Nosferatu the Lord of Blood gave each of the Elder Birds a personal introduction. By the end of these meetings, Jean-Claude was released from his chains, and sent to execute Jean-Renaitrè the Elder Parrot, and his claim was that the Vampire Lord of Dread had charmed him into doing it. He was placed, willingly, back into his binds.   The next millenia were torture. The Lord of Blood took great pleasure in harming, disturbing, and otherwise traumatizing the lesser God. The greatest of these trials, was the massive amount of time not knowing what had happened with his brothers or their people. They were kept solitary, with no letters, or contact with the open sky.   When King Tais and his Crownsguard came to see the Elder Eagle in secret, to help encourage an internal revolution, the Elder Eagle was the only one of his living siblings to decline. "Evil has won, now leave a dead God here to rot." Tais, however, did no such thing. After the aid from the other Elder birds, The Crown was able to claim the Jungle. They were told they would be reinstated as the leaders of their people, but they must be supervised by their own city Crownsguard. The Crown of Law was then used to bring their leader Jean-Renaître back from the dead as the Elder Phoenix.
