Grand Nid (Graw-nd Nee-d)

Set into the northern mountainside is a series of Stone buildings overlooking a huge Aztec inspired village of Eagle Aarakocra, built beneath a temple to Jean-Claude the Elder Eagle. The Guardians of Grand Nid share their Elders tenacity and powerful lawful attitude, ruling the city with an iron fist, no nonsense attitude.                The upper layers are set aside for military leaders, priests, and otherwise Aarokocra who have proven themselves in combat. The part of the city on the jungle floor are where the LizardFolk and common folk Aarokocra of Grand Nid farm, hunt, and mine to keep the city running.                Currently, the city is gearing up for war, waiting for the Elder Birds to agree on the need to squash the Kenku rebellion to the south, The Forgotten Feather. This effort is threatened only by Sáárseach, and the desperate, isolated dwarves who have long been kept from their Imperium masters Sáárseach regularly attacks caravans and fires Balistas at troop units coming to and from the city.
