World-Gates

World-Gates are gigantic stargates that enable travel between a world and the world of Archeron. Other than Archeron, each world only has one World-Gate. They look like a pair of symmetrical giant pillars. World-Gates on Archeron are arranged into semi-circular henge like structures called Khorai. Each Khorus, can have 4-7 World-Gates linked in this way, and worlds linked by a Khorus tend to be linked in other ways also. eg, Shards of Aaru also often link worlds that belong to a Khorus
