Ushiel (a.k.a. Caluchus)

Isolated hermit who lives in the Tower of Shoje. Fanatical in his hatred and enmity towards the Chovantine Dominion. He has spent centuries maneuvering and manipulating events to create opposition to it. He was once a Tharaoh Sorcerer on Imphalas called Caluchus.
When he claimed the Tower of Shoje he found a sleeping child which he called "Caliope". He uses her to draw upon more powerful magic than he could normally. He is unaware that Caliope is actually the Thitan, Eliniela.
