An arrogant bully who is actually a very good swordsman. He has fought many duels and often his tactic is to rush in, grapple his opponent to the ground then stab them. He can be very charismatic when he wants to be, though he is often dismissive of those he considers beneath him.
The eldest of the sons of Kalember Goddin. His father tried to arrange his betrothal to Elen Chanet but her father refused the idea of marrying the heirs of two duchies. Instead his younger brother Damid Goddin is betrothed to her instead which is a great source of irritation to Niall.
