The Open Stage

A raised performance and announcement platform at the center of the Festival Grounds. Used for Beacon broadcasts, scheduled Events, vendor showcases, and anything else that requires an audience and a podium.

Access is first-come, first-served. No permanent host. The Beacon logs all audio captured from the built-in broadcast rig. It has an informal cultural reputation as the place things get announced first, which makes it valuable and occasionally contested.
