p]GRIFFIT is Citadel Nine's internal social media and forum platform, built into The Beacon's extended interface. Accessible from any terminal, kiosk, or personal HUD overlay through The Beacon Band. Every player has an auto-generated account. Username equals stream ID. Permanently non-anonymous: every post is tagged with class, generation, and rank.

• Posts: Short-form text with optional image or clip attachment. Displayed publicly with the poster's class, generation, and rank tag. Cannot be posted anonymously.
• Threads: Forum-style reply chains, most commonly used for market listings, task coordination, and community disputes that spill out of Chat.
• Trending: A ranked feed of posts gaining fast engagement. Trending posts display on public screens in District 1 and District 2. Getting on Trending is a meaningful visibility event.
• Beacon Notices: Official announcements from the Beacon system appear pinned at the top of every player's feed and cannot be dismissed.

[color:#bebdb8]GRIFFIT discourse is its own genre of city entertainment. The non-anonymous tag system makes every argument fully attributable, which either deters bad-faith posting or concentrates it, depending on the individual. The Hope Syndicate uses it heavily for recruitment outreach.
