The Forest Nation

The Forest Nation is primarily made up of the two groves of treefolk native to the island - the Oaks and the Maples. It has risen to prominence in the Acapellago after an expedition was made by Kraken Squadron roughly 50 years ago.

History

The Oaks and the Maples began in separate groves on the island. Treefolk being slow to grow and long in age, it was a few centuries before they encountered each other.

Demography and Population

While most of the island's residents are the treefolk (roughly 95%), there is a small camp near the island's adamantine mine. This camp is mostly made up of humans from The Synchronicity, but others live here too. They are all part of the mining operation and harvest the adamantine ore to be shipped out for processing elsewhere in the Acapellago.
