The Secrets of Blood Magic is a report created by Professor Theodore on his research on Blood Magic. Through this report he shows the connections between magic corruption and blood magic. How those who ancestors practiced the now outlawed magic have higher resistance to the corrupting effects of essence based magic. How with some work a person can be enhanced to equal the power of the magical races. It also shows how those ill suited may become tainted both physically and mentally from the effects.
The Research was done in hopes of understanding the effects of Blood Magic and find some use to it. Even if the practice is outlawed thanks to the treaty. There may be some possible avenues of discover with at least having some understanding of it. Even if it involves bending the rules a bit.

Background
The document was a report created after Professor Theobald did research on the old tribes that helped founded the city. How many of the tribes dabbled with the stuff and those with direct connection to those users tend to be more physically capable than those who descended from non users.
It was also researched as a means to understand why some people who got high exposure to essence ended up developing abilities while others ended up dying in horrible ways.
This research was also backed by the nobles who wanted to see if their was a way to improve the workforce so less people died from essence leaks or continued exposure to zidsian sap.
History
This document was created not long after his dealings with subject 1 which sparked his desires in understanding magic corruption and seeing if blood magic could be used to control it. Once his research was done this paper was used by many to comprehend the Human evolution project.
It was also used in figuring out ways to improve the Salire Knights and their skill and ability to harness magic. Though The Professor had bigger plans with this document once he gained his apprentices.
