Prompt 24: The Order of the Purifiers

You don't want to run afoul of the order of purifiers. They are a deadly group who won't hesitate wiping out a town off the map if they thought it was the only way to deal with abusers of forbidden magic. I so far have kept my nose clean when dealing with them. Though I fear one day we will come at odds. -Ace Cardia

The order of the purifiers is organization founded in dealing with corruption. This means the spread of death corruption, any form of forbidden magic usage, and anyone dabling in criminal activities that could destablize the empire. This gives the group a wide berth and allows them to basicly deal with any problems that is deemed illegal.

Structure

Lord of Purification: The leader of the order of the purifiers. They are tasked with deciding where their operatives are needed and what actions need to be taken. They also have to deal with the imperial council and build relationships with outside groups to better police the use of forbidden magic.

Inquisitors: They exist to hunt down the corrupted and those foolish enough to dabble in forbidden magic. Bound to a holy spirit they risk their mortal life in the service of protecting the world from the other side. They work autonomas and are able to pursue their own investigations. Only answering to the lord of purification.
Purifiers: The average member of the order who go out of their way to deal with criminals and illegal magic usage. They also act as a small police force when stationed in the empire.

Culture

They follow strong religious belief in the balance based on order and control. This has made them rather strict when dealing with crimes and extremely hostile when it comes to forbidden magic. Willing to sacrifice themselves for the cause of eradicating unholy magics.

Public Agenda

Their goal is to make the world safer by combating the corruption that lurks in the shadows of the light.
