Debara

Debara the city at the edge of civilization. A place where humans can truly call their own. Founded by the humans who sought a better life than the streets of Salire and funded by the human nobles who wanted another way to line their pockets. It is a place of innovation and commerce. The Forge Masters create new things through their understanding of science and the secrets of the lost races. While the mercantile guild does their best to find a way to profit from it. This is a place where anyone can become something if they are ready to put in the work.

Demographics

It is predominantly filled with humans who either left Salire or are born from those who did. There is also an ever growing population of beast clan races who either came searching for a new life, fled the dangers of their land or have been banished. The richest of these races run things in Debara as they have an influence on trade and industry. Though everyone can life comfortable if they are willing to work.

Government

The City use to be run by the Human Nobles of Salire, but they were kicked out by the growing power of the mercantile guild and the Cardia Family. Now under the thumb of the mercantile guild, things are run to the benefit of the people as best as possible. Laws are fare so that chaos and unrest wouldn't occur. Taxes are low as most income comes from the trade of goods from outside territories.

Infrastructure

Factories are key to the industry of Debara as they work to create new machines or convert resources into something more useful. An advance sewer system built of the relics of the ancient ones keeps things as clean as possible. Beautiful courtyards and parks in more rural areas. The biggest train station in all the edge that connects the northern rails and southern rails together.
