Personal history

Mark was born in the year 3A-1144, which made him 66 at his death. He was born into the Hael family, and from a young age was expected to continue the family tradition of armory, and studied under his father until he gained mastery of the trade. Mark also had ambitions of expanding the business, wanting to open his own shop to increase profits. He did this when he was young, and the shop was very successful. He gained a name for himself in Royton Vasey, and enjoyed the success of his efforts.   Mark was a second son, and did not have the pressure on him to marry as his older brother or younger sister did. However, he found that there was a hole in his life without a wife and children, and when he met Raven, he fell head over heels. She fell for him as well, and they were married quickly. Mark knew that Raven had ambitions beyond simply raising a family, and was willing to take over some of the typical duties after his children were born. He was very close with both of his sons, and took Gregory’s death very hard. Neither he nor Raven ever recovered from it fully. He taught Jerry the trade of his family. He supported Raven in her bid for the councilor position, and was proud of her accomplishments. He died at the age of 66, when his heart condition finally caught up to him.
