Häming Masahide
Samurai Captain
is the youngest son of the Grand Shogun of the Samurai Guard, Yabūchi Masahide. Much like his legendary father, Häming too, is seen as a true prodigy. Though he himself cannot use the Sheai like his father. Häming is a battle-hardened warrior in command of three Samurai battalions and is currently preparing one of them for travel to the Kingdom of Dragton to lend aid to the Dragtonians in their fight against the forces of the Republic of Bargrossa. Häming also has a five-year-old son he named Yabūchi the Second after his father.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Häming is in excellent condition. Aside from his samurai duties, he exercises regularly including sparring with his fellow samurai. He also meditates in the Way of the Sword regularly as well in hopes that he too can master the Sheai like his father.
Body Features
Häming is quite tall and well muscular. He has broad shoulders and thick arms. His legs are also muscular and long.
Facial Features
Häming has chiseled facial features, with a strong chin, and strong cheekbones. He has a slight beard, not long, that he keeps well-trimmed. He has a crooked nose, having broken it several times in his youth.
Identifying Characteristics
Much like his father, Häming also has several tribal tattoos across his left arm and chest. He also has a slight scar on his right eyebrow.
Physical quirks
Aside from being an excellent swordsman, Häming is also a fantastic runner and an avid reader.
Special abilities
Though he has yet to activate it, Häming too has the capability to summon a Sheai (spirit sword) like his father. Häming Meditates daily in hopes of mastering it.

Personal history
Häming was born in the late Spring of 3A-1205 to Samurai Grand Shogun, Yabūchi Masahide and seamstress, Tani Koromi. Growing up, Häming was an intelligently gifted child and was often drawn to the path of a swordsman like his father. By his eleventh year, Häming left home to train with the Masters of the Way of the Sword.
After nine years, Häming completed his training and was accepted among the Samurai’s ranks. Much like his father, Häming was a true prodigy with a sword as well as spiritual pureness. Upon turning twenty, Häming was made captain and assigned to oversee three Samurai Battalions charged with defending the roads in and out of the Ritá Mountain Valley and to check all inbound travelers coming to Farhold.
Since becoming a Samurai, Häming has only seen hard combat on two occasions. While Häming walked away from the first battle remarkably unscathed, the second he nearly lost his life when a Ravenscarian soldier sliced him across the belly and chest. Häming has since upped his abilities and has not had another close call like that again.
