Infused Lineage

There is a lot of magic in Choradesa. Much of it is just floating around in the air, doing nothing. The Infused, however, are very sensitive to this when they are concieved. Any being with the Infused lineage is likely to be shaped by the ambient magic in the area. Those born in areas of high Gala sanctity will have many characteristics and powers of a follower of the Gala for example.
These powers and forms can be passed down through the generations, but it's not uncommon for new features to pop up randomly in a newborn. An Infused that has no other lineage usually manifests 3 different forms of magic. An Infused that is mixed with other races will only have 1 magical identity.
Some physical attributes about each manifestation will show up in different strengths. Some manifestations may be completely abscent physically, but still be a part of the Infused. You are unlikely to meet an Infused that looks exactly like another.


Infused Manifestations

Earth Shaper [15]

These Infused will have a hard time keeping themselves clean. It seems like this layer of dirt is actually protective. Likely will have brown hair, scales, or feathers.

    These Infused will have ethereal silvery hair, scales, or feathers with highlights of purple and blue. They may smell slightly of ozone as well.

    These Infused will have light to dark blue skin or scales with white feathers or hair.

  • Augury [15]

    These Infused will have beige skin, fur, feathers, or scales. This manifestation is usually harder to see, but things just kind of go in these Infused's favor.

  • Tempest [15]

    These Infused will have light blue skin or scales and yellow feathers or hair.
  • Walk on Air (Costs FP: 2 Per Minute) [15]


  • Cosmology [15]

    These Infused have deep purple skin or scales and jet black hair or feathers.

    Eternal Flame [15]

    These Infused will have orange to red skin or scales with yellow or orange feathers and hair.
  • Innate Attack 1.6: Burning (1d+2 Burn) [8]

  • Elementalism [15]

    These Infused will have beige skin, fur, feathers, or scales. This manifestation is usually harder to see, but things just kind of go in these Infused's favor.
  • Telekinesis 3* [15]
  • *Can manipulate items up to 2 pounds


    Untamed Wilds [15]

    These Infused will always have fur, even if it's patchy. They will also have green eyes and smell vaguely earthy.

    Mesmerism [15]

    These Infused will have beige skin, fur, feathers, or scales. This manifestation is usually harder to see, but things just kind of go in these Infused's favor.

    Gala [10]

    These Infused will be very extravagant with a wide array of vibrant colors. They heal slightly faster than normal people.

  • Necromancy [15]

    These Infused will be a sickly greenish color and may have patchy or almost leperous looking skin, hair, feathers, or scales. They will also reek or death and cold and clammy to the touch.

  • Bad Smell [-10]
  • *Whenever you come across a body of a sentient race, you may attempt to raise them on a roll of 12 or less. These zombies, mummies or skeletons are deformed in the process and only use the basic zombie skeleton or mummy templates. When one is killed, you must find another body to take it's place. You may only have 10 active at a time.


    Scribe [15]

    These Infused will have pale white skin, hair, feathers, and scales that feel dry and papery to the touch.

  • Protection [15]

    These Infused will have grey and metalic looking fur, feathers, hair, or scales.
  • Danger Sense [15]


  • Bastion [15]

    These Infused will have copper colored skin, scales, feathers, or hair. They will also smell faintly metallic and have a slightly colder than average body temperature.
  • Damage Resistance 4 (Semi-Ablative)* [16]
  • *Whenever this Damage Resistance protects against an attack, reduce it by one afterwards. The damage heals at the same rate you heal HP.


    Transfiguration [15]

    These Infused have light brown skin, hair, feathers, or scales, however these features are rarely seen. They are able to change how they look to be able to hide their identity. If they are a full Infused, they are able to look like any kind of human they want or they can present themselves as an Infused with any manifestations they want. If they are a half-Infused, they are able to look like any kind of human, person of similar lineage to their other half as long as it is of the same size modifier, or any other manifestation of Infused. In almost all societies, these Infused are kept track of. The ability to change your identity is suspicious at best, criminalized at worst.

    These Infused will have light to dark blue skin or scales with white feathers or hair.
     

    Ferryman [10]

    These Infused will have light to dark blue skin or scales with white feathers or hair.
     

    Invalid [10]

    These Infused will have light to dark blue skin or scales with white feathers or hair.
     

    Traveler [15]

    These Infused will have light brown almost leathery, scales, hair, feathers, or fur. These people can easily look restless to others if they need to stay in place for too long. They have a small pocket they can stash Basic Lift/2 pounds of items.

  • Veil [15]

    These Infused will have dark purple hair, scales, feathers, or fur. These people generally don't like spending time with others and are likely to snap at people who get too close.

  • *If wearing minimal clothing or if you're wearing Theives Armor, anyone attempting to see or hear you have a -4 penalty to their Perception if you are standing still and a -2 if you are moving. You also gain a +4 to Strike From the Shadows or Disappearing rolls.

    Chaotic [15]

    These Infused will have dark red skin, scales, fur, or feathers. They also frequently will have features that are almost purely cosmetic, like arcane markings, ridges along the back, small horns, etc. They are well known for their reckless lifestyles and enjoy living life dangerously.

    These Infused will have light purple streaks through their hair, scales, feathers, or fur. People getting too close to these Infused sometimes feel some kind of emptiness.
