The History of Chimera D10 so far
The prior history of all races and who they were before the cataclysm has been scattered, allowing them to start anew.
Current Species & Cultures
Tarans, Myrrdin, Rook, The Gol, Simmias, Dracovians, Vespids, and Lesidhe are the known sentient races. Tarans are the most prominent. Monsters inhabit a lower ring outside of society and are generally seen as pests, powerful or not.
Brought together by the Tarans, and further by the Heroes Guild, the continents have lived in relative peace which has declined with the introduction of new technologies and growing magical prowess. The most notable historical event of all was when one man attempted and nearly succeeded in rising to godhood by assimilating all souls into himself for the purpose of ending suffering.
Needs & Relations
Each race desires the relics of their past, to reclaim their past glory in order to chart a brighter future. But if everyone bravely walked into the unknown future and held one another up, then they might be able to reach a better place than the place they live now.
