Loki links with Earth (unfinished)

Well, at least from here on I can be far less inventive/weird with my ideas for alien species.

So, Loki was built. The Old Ones yoinked themselves to death. Loki still has those portal facilities, even if most of them are run down and in many the only things still standing are the portals themselves, which had some very tough rims. There are still many AIs which are now doing the planetary analysis themselves to link up with other planets and there's a planet that one of them does link up with that has life on it: Earth.

Due to the detection of there being life on Earth, the AIs decided to make it so that more of their portals were linking up to Earth than to any other planet, resulting in a lot of bacteria, fungi and other micro-organisms crossing over into Loki. Plants and animals could not survive on Loki because of how inhospitable it was at this point. Eventually, these micro-organisms terraformed Loki enough for plants, which terraformed it enough for animals.
