Widow's Tears

A unique source of lighting found almost entirely among Liabdais settlements, Widow's Tears are small ice-like fragments that emit a gentle blue light which flickers like a candle might. Aside from not being so cold to the touch, everything else about them resembles actual ice. Strangely, when exposed to sunlight or brought near fire, Widow's Tears will melt and become seemingly ordinary water. It is speculated that all Widow's Tears come from the Ebtarrai temple where Abdemn's wife, Emenya, is kept.
