Gideon was born on Helios space station, deep in Union territory. His parents were technicians for the station, helping keep it spaceworthy and functional. As it was a military station important for resupply and repairs, Gideon grew up around military and civilian spacecraft.
Gideon grew up working on general maintenance the ships and the station and would have probably ended up spending his whole life on Helios if he hadn't met W.A.D.E.
