Badhlíslo / Grey Elves
The Badhlíslo are more commonly known as the Grey Elves from the Rolemaster system. As with most Elves within the World of Ærnth setting, the majority tend to be reclusive and avoid human culture for the most part. They also tend not to be trusted by many of the human cultures, due to their refusing to take part in the battles against the Ruglund Empire during its existence.
Note, the elves in the World of Ærnth/Channel Cities are tall and thin people with extremely long lifespans (think of the elves from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth), not the shorter elves from most of the d20 systems that only live for a few hundred years but at the same time tend to be overpowered.
Also note that in the World of Ærnth/Channel Cities elves tend not to be trusted by most other races (especially humans) due to their lack of support against the ancient Ruglund Empire when most of the other races of the world rose up against the tyrannical rule of the empire before its fall. So elves will generally be looked upon with suspicion by the majority of people (NPC's). As such, I don't encourage players to play an elf, unless they are willing to deal with the results of this racial distrust that exists towards elves.
