The City of Domes

General Summary

Joetta and her team arrive in the city of Telek Tarim. First Joetta seeks out Hatha of the Cheldrim to discharge her obligation to Azmazar
She finds the young chieftain incognito, posing as a humble labourer named Numa working on new buildings in the Waterside district of the city. Introducing herself, she offers to come back after his shift has finished to explain all. While she waits though she is aware of being watched by one of the sinister Black gulls who has been keeping an eye on Hatha too.
Shortly afterward a grim and silent warrior in a visored helm, bronze cuirass and lacking any insignia arrives and starts looking over the area. Joetta disguises herself and fakes an emergency as a distraction allowing Hatha to escape. She meets up with him later and gives him the idol of Tsatho provided by Azmazar . Hatha smashes it revealing a parchment map inside that will lead him to a long lost site sacred to his people, where he will be able to find resources to take back his position in his tribe.
The next day Joetta meets with Sikander a countryman of hers and someone still loyal to her cause. He tells her that he heard that Niall Gregor her lover had been brought to Nan Tarim by Darisian slavers and sold into the service of one of Keledra's sorceresses - a woman named Mazaletta. Moreover Mazaletta is in Telek Tarim at this time.
Joetta puts a plan in place to have someone host a party to lure Mazaletta out of her house -a richly appointed mansion on Imperial Boulevard.
Going to scout out the area Joetta sees Hatha under guard by the silent warrior being taken captive into the house. Returning in disguise she enters the house as a servant and locates a guarded corridor where Hatha may be being kept. She overhears the steward of the house talking with a bounty hunter seeking his mistress' sorcerous aid to locate Joetta.
Returning to the inn that night she dreams of being hunted by the Black gulls
