Personal history
Always tight with her brother Wave, they have been a good team on the sea. Twins to a water and air genasi, they came out as one of each.
As a team they always walk away on top. Or at least they did before Lorenah decided to try and aim for a little too high then they were ready for. It ended with them marooned after a shipwreck. It was good fortune that Masela's Fury came past and picked them up. By the time they made it to a port, they decided to join the crew.
Over time they worked their way up. Lorenah became a first mate and Wave the Quartermaster. Both of them had taken a personal liking to the captain but had always been turned down.
Lorenah enjoyed this new life with the crew. She has a captain who rewards her ambitious attitude and they took no prisoners on the sea. However, this all changed when the new Pirate King came along and the Captain went weak at the knees for him. Suddenly deferring to this man who had never even sailed before sent her into a rage at the Captain's weakness.
Wanting to remove this new weakness and turn her Captain back into the badass Lorenah knew her to be, she tried to kill off the companions of the Pirate King who had been hurt when their boat sank so he would would have less defences around him. The battle didn't go the way she intended and Lorenah was forced to flee for her life. She tried to get Wave to run with her, but the Pirate King had worked his charms on her brother and he would not run with her.
Alone, for the first time in her life, she runs with the intension of making sure that one day she would return and the Pirate King will rule the day he took her family from her.

Lorenah has been trained to strike vital points on a person to critically injure them.
Employment
Lorenah has spent most of his life either working in ports or on boats. She often rises quickly through the ranks before turning on her employer for better gains.
Failures & Embarrassments
Lorenah looks at being forced to flee for her life as a failure not on her part, but on those around her. They were weak for the charms of the Pirate King, but she will correct this when she gets a chance.

Lorenah is extremely simple-minded. She believes herself to be cunning and smart, but often doesn't think her plans all the way through to the possibility of negative consequences.
