Humans are an ancient race that has suffered much on Caveorth.  Once brought forth by the gods, humanity has long been held sway by other powers or the worst among themselves.  Yet humanity is still primarily a race of hope, capable of great heights and great lows.
During the Drogonstall Empire, humanity was used as slave chattle to do the grunt work in a variety of environs.  Most Dragonlords tended to have preferential races, but very few held humanity in high regard.  This, coupled with humans shorter lifespans during the best of times, meant that humanity often turned to outside entities for power.  Thus a tradition of human warlocks and clerics was born, given the races general inability to amass and keep the knowledge necessary to learn the intricacies of arcane magic.
Now humanity has found itself in power through many of the city states across Caveorth.  While they remember the injustice done to them, will they retaliate in kind, or build a better world?
