Genasi

Genasi are typically humans, elves, or dwarves who manifest the raw magic of the planes through some trick of their lineage.  Given how difficult reaching the other planes is, often these gifts came to Caveorth instead of others going to get them.
It is very common for Genasi to be viewed as demigods for one of the various deities.  Depending on the culture they grow up in, this can have vast implications on how each Genasi is raised and treated.
