Ah yes, Ragrots Tools. This forgery, founded by the genius merchant Jalyrk Ragrot, is manufacturing a vast array of tools used in different professions, as well as for personal use. From ordinary hammers and nails to ancient tech, specially crafted and tailored to the customers wishes.
Structure
Ragrots Tools is a family business. The Ragrots Family has a hierarchical structure to their management. To raise their status, trust, profit and leadership is required. While working in this guild is not family-exclusive, to attain a higher rank as an outsider is inherently not forbidden, but it is an almost impossible task. Vouches from different members are needed on top of huge amounts of profit.
Public Agenda
What started as a small shop and forge inside the shed of the Zvaarian Jalyrk Ragrot spiraled into a huge business family selling all over the globe. Despite their growth, the core values of the guild never changed. The goal was to elevate the thin and crappy selection of gadgets used in the many professions for the sake of the people. This mindset still remains the same two hundred years after.
Technology shall not be limited by the tools we possess, but rather by the imagination of the peoples.
Assets
Ragrots Tools has its forges and shops all over Cathrea. While their roots lie in Zvaaraes, their current headquarters are located on the borders between Zvaaraes and Thorgea due to higher quantity and quality of metals. It is estimated that 1 out of 200 artisans are under Ragrots Tools care. Towns marketplaces are almost guaranteed to have one Ragrots Toolshop. Twenty percent of the mines in Thorgea are owned by Ragrots Tools and over 50% partially deliver goods as well.
