Deepspan Sector

The Deepspan Sector is a sector in the Outer Rim at the very edge of the galaxy. This sector includes planets like Ringai, Green IV, and Aldervale. In theory, the local government under LBF controls the sector. However, due to the sparse population and remotnes of most planets in the region, the local government in Ringai only has control over major population centers and hyperspace lanes. The rest of the sector is largely a lawless frontier, piracy being rampant in areas outside the protection of the local LBF naval force and local defense forces.
The Deepspan Campaign took place here early in the Cat Wars, the result being the expulsion of the Catopian Empire from the sector.
