Summer Camp 2023 Pledge

While November is my most focused writing time, July has become my new favorite - not just because my birthday is this month, either!
Summer Camp is the time where I get to think about new parts of my world and let my imagination run wild. It's one of the most exciting parts of telling the story of Casimira and I always discover something I didn't know about the land and the people who live there!
This year, despite already having a busy July planned, I am going to aim high and go for Diamond. I did accomplish this in 2021, but last year a lot of personal things prevented me from getting anywhere close. I'd really love to dive back into Casimira and immerse myself so I can get some momentum going.

Copper Theme: Power

There are a couple directions I can go with this theme: magic and political relationships.
I've explored the magic of Casimira some, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to solidify the ways in which the different races access magic. Some have natural ability because of their nature, others have to work to overcome barriers. This can also play into the power dynamics in the world as well.
As far as political relationships go, there is a huge amount left to be explored. Most of my stubs (posted on the sidebar for tracking purposes) are the articles I've created on the different kingdoms of Casimira. Ready access to magical power has a big impact on how well off a kingdom is and I have yet to look more at what else they do to succeed and defend themselves from invasion.

Silver Theme: Frontiers

There are multiple frontiers that come to mind when I think of Casimira. Two huge ones are all about perception: the Southern and Northern Lands. One is inhabited by dragons, the other by a people reliant on technology to use magic, but both are rarely visited by anyone from the more central kingdoms. Crossing the largest rivers in Casimira will bring you to a new frontier no matter which way you're traveling.
The ocean and any continents beyond are also unexplored, leaving open many possibilities! One could even say that the limits of magic and technology are also unknown, so there are still discoveries to be made there as well!
