Vaegraf Vasseur
ex-Legate (a.k.a. The Recreant)
Vaegraf was born into the illustrious House Vasseur, a powerful House in Carcea. House Vasseur was powerful with substantial wealth and influence. Vaegraf had an easy childhood with endless support from the family and friends of House Vasseur.
An educated man, Vaegraf succeeded his father as Count of Carcea and Lord of House Vasseur in 1010AE, and became Legate of Hillend a year later. Vaegraf was trained as a Holy Knight, an elite and exclusive occupation only the most talented are given the opportunity to train in, wherein divine spells are cast from the user's sword. In 1021, for reasons unknown, Vaegraf and his sister Miluda Vasseur renounced their allegiance to Garriland and claims to House Vasseur. With the majority of his knights remaining loyal to Vaegraf, he has since led the Death Corps with The Instigator.
Ever since the Vasseur's renounced their lordship, Carcea has been in turmoil, with many claimaints fighting for the riches and titles, as neither sibling have any heirs.
Most recently, Vaegraf has layed siege to the Hillend city of Muse, with his large army of knights and the Instigator's followers.
