A light shines brightly before your eyes as clouds of every shape and kind flow threw your heart. Wisps of wind and wonder envelopes you like a mother swaddling a child in a warm blanket. Despite the comforting sensations of warmth and security, there is a strange coldness lurking just beneath your feet. You look down to see what appears to be another sky, only this sky is very different from the sky you now inhabit. A thin sheet of green water covers an opposing sky of black and grey clouds that stair ominously back at all who look down on them from the sky above. On the green horizon, you soon notice a single star of unrivaled brilliance and splendor. The star itself permanently sets on the green sea of Carpus, showing only half of its resplendent beauty. Beneath the green horizon sits the other half of this grand star, though this half is very different from the other. A black star rises where the white star sets, illuminating the dark sky beneath with a strange hue of orange and blue that barely makes its way threw the dark clouds below. Such strange sights can be breathtaking for those that do not call this realm home, yet there is one more thing that appears to your senses as you traverse the skies of Carpus. Something stirs in the green sea, a large object composed of an unknown material rises and falls from the depths. A great hand emerges and descends before your very heart, with five fingers rising and falling into the many clouds of Carpus. The hand itself is beyond massive, as each finger rises and falls to heights and depths beyond what your eyes can ever even begin to comprehend. Before you have time to process what has occurred a single finger extends itself to you, opening a door for you to enter. Which finger visits you depends on what you seek. Perhaps it's only one, while others may visit all five fingers if they wish. Still, some may visit the palm of the hand itself, which is unfortunately overlooked by the many explorers that arrive in Carpus. Only you know dear adventurer which finger points to you. Geography
Most beings that find their way to Carpus experience some kind of sea or ocean flowing just beneath their feet when they first arrive at this strange plane of reality. The color of the water changes according to the heart that witness its calm and reflective beauty, yet there always seems to be a shade of green mixed into the pallet of the ocean itself. The twin skies that seem to emerge from this wonderous ocean extend to an unfathomable end, Perhaps to some, the sky is the limit, yet to others, the very skies of Carpus can be quite different. Plantlife in Carpus exists, though not in the way you may be familiar with. The clouds that form in Carpus take on many shapes and sizes in accordance with what is familiar to the viewer. The clouds are rooted in the waters above and below Carpus threw invisible tethers made of raw emotion and thought. Like plants, the clouds grow and wither, rising and falling into the boundless skies of Carpus. These clouds can be among the most beautiful things to see in this realm, yet their beauty can hide darker truths that the heart may not want to know. Sometimes the beauty of light is really a cover for the blackest of lies, while some dark places can hold inner flames of peace and hope.
Natural Resources
Water is by far the most plentiful resource in Carpus as there seems to be no end to the twin ocean that spans as far as any eyes can see. There may be more resources hidden away within the skies of both the light and dark ocean, though no matter the height or depth one travels, The Great Hand remains in view for all the wondering travelers to see. Perhaps within the experience of each finger, the world of Carpus itself changes according to the questions that find there way here. One heart carries cravings for wealth that have no end, thus leading to a world where gold and riches emerge from the watery depths to find the one that seeks them. Another may crave the restoration of a lost loved one and thus various elixirs and ingredients may float to the surface of the deep. There are endless possibilities when one first arrives at the mystery that is Carpus, yet as time goes on, the countless threads of choice become narrower and narrower until the greatest question and treasure are revealed to the heart. Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How can take many forms and reveal many things. In the end, so much becomes futile as only one question remains at the end of all that has been saught out and discovered.

There are many that seek elusive answers to countless questions that seem to never end. Sooner or later creatures from various plains of reality find their way into the clutches of Carpus. Some may only stay a moment as all is made clear to them. Others never leave Carpus, for the answers they receive never bring about the peace or control that they thought would satisfy their famished curiosity. Still some beings never even know of Carpus as questions are never asked by such beings who care little for the knowledge of things. Reality can appear so simple to one, yet so complex to another. One has to wonder about their own point of view on such things, whether they arrive in Carpus, or merely pass it by.
