Hot Tubs and Hot Fuzz
General Summary
As Besella and Stela sat awaiting their party members' return, Sarthak began to show more signs of nervousness as day turned to dusk. Eventually, he made them pack up and move further into the canyonlands where he had a camp hidden away. Besella made the place more comfortable with her magical cabin, twisting the spell to not produce the walls but just the magical comfort that dwelled within. Stela meanwhile used their magic to produce a steaming hot spring, turning this ramshackle camp into a resort for the night. Initially reticent, Sarthak eventually agreed to work with them to try and free the city from the Slovengaard military in hopes of clearing his name.
The next morning, Caldwell and Gourm were awoken by the sound of guards milling about checking the abandoned buildings for the disappearing duo. Caldwell Weatherbey immediately began searching for a way to avoid directly confronting the guards, but Gourm's plate became a clear impediment to any sneakery. Instead, the two prepared themselves at the door and rush the guard just before they could break their door down, quickly dispatching one and knocking the captain prone before they could get an attack in. Unfortunately, a third guard was dispatched by the captain to bring reinforcements.
