The Nordic Sea

The Nordic Sea is a large extent of water that separates the territories from the Northern Empire from the eastern part of the Vaegirs.
The Sea is still actively fought over by naval forces from the Western and Eastern Empires, and the Vaegirs, with naval actions occurring weekly, usually in favour of the Vaegirs. The sea is still very much considered "contested".
The Sea has largely been cleared of large carnivorous or problematic creatures, but krakens have been known to migrate in from time to time. Many smaller carnivorous creatures still exist here though, and a sailor would avoid falling of their ship at all costs.
