The Anabilia School of Performing Arts
The Anabilia School of performing arts was founded by an imperial senator in memory of his wife, who loved to sing and play music, and was so good as to be invited weekly to play for the emperor. The graduates of this school fill the great halls of the nations with music, and many great artists made their start here.
The school has a wing for each of the main arts that it teaches. The North Wing is for Musicians, who can be taught any instrument know, and even some that are not!
The East wing teaches poetry and singing. The greatest singers and poets gather here even when not taking classes, to exchange their knowledge and work together on compositions.
The South Wing focuses on dance, and the artistry of the body. Every culture has developed their own local dances, and it is here that they are combined and refined to make new and interesting movements.
Finally, the West wing is for artists, and all of the associated arts, including pottery and silversmithing. This wing has the most workshops, as they see the fabrication of beautiful items as art as well.
Across all wings one thing has grown in prominence over time, the use of magically enhanced art. Today, all the schools practice methods to weave magic into their creations and performances, using a variety of (church approved) methods. they are not even close to the academic levels of wizards, but none can doubt that a song can't be interwoven with magic to cause a myriad of effects, from sleepiness to rage.
Tuition to the school is prohibitively expensive, however the headmasters have been know to give scholarships to particularly talented people from the lower classes, provided their skills are so unique as to be unavailable from any other student.
