Kara Togaroving
The Dread in the North
Kara Togaroving is the eldest daughter of Olek Togaroving, and heir apparent of the leadership of House Togaroving. In the old-style of Vaegir leadership, she did not stay in the cities during her adolescence, instead going out raiding. For a period, she left to wander, killing creatures and beasts of renown, honing her skills, before founding a small band of elite raiders, the Skoldrbrotva.
Believing wholeheartedly in the traditional Vaegir concept of leading from the front, she believes that leaders who are unwilling to fight in their own shield walls do not deserve to lead at all. In all ways she is equally as conservative as her father, and has grand ambitions for the family.
Even at such a young age, she has already made a name for herself as a great hunter and war leader in her own right. Her scary success in raiding the forts near Gersegos with the Skoldrbrotva has earned her the title "The Dread in the North" among imperial soldiers, despite imperial commanders trying to stop such talk.
