White Citadel, Prague

The alternative name, Prague Castle, rather belies the fact that, on Calmarendi, the word "castle" generally refers to buildings far more akin to a French-style château than a medieval fortress. And, make no mistake, the Citadel of Prague is heavily fortified, perhaps more than any extant structure in the Western Provinces. However, there is nothing medieval about its architecture and its gates have long been left unguarded so that the general public may freely wander its streets and marvel at the Art Deco opulence or visit the now infamous Museum of Prague.
