High Plains

Geography

The High Plains (or Altiplano) is an extensive region of high altitude upland situated mainly in eastern Victoria but which spills over into western Eden. Within the Altiplano there are two ranges of mountains proper: the Sierra Azul (Blue Mountains) to the north and the Sierra Morena (Brown Mountains) to the south. Both lie mainly within the borders of Victoria.
