Platonic Friendships
- Magdaléna the Wanderer Magdaléna came to Blear Bridge in Midwinter 776 when Andrea was but eight seasons old. While Magdaléna convalesced at Prague Street, Andrea assumed almost sole responsibility for nursing her back to health and during that time - and then afterwards while Magdaléna taught Andrea so much about the world - they developed a very special friendship. Though Magdaléna left Blear Bridge early in Thaw 776 and they would not meet again until she had reached adulthood, Andrea always believed they kept a special bond: not one based on memories, for memories fade, but on an almost tangible connection that seemed only to grow stronger as time passed. Those around her with whom Andrea shared this knowledge viewed it as nothing more than the wishful fantasy of an impressionable young girl, but Andrea herself had no such doubts.
