Incursion of barbaric human tribes into elven territory resulting in a bloody war.
The Human population had just barely recovered from the decimation by the demons before the Fall. But there was no order, no honor. The humans' was a crude and martial culture at that time. Humans bred and expanded their domains and were heedless of the sacred borders of the elven realms.
The elves were powerful but the humans were many. A bloody war ensued.
At last the humans, who were not as organized and culturally advanced as the elves, were pushed back.
The elves had suffered greatly at the hands of the humans. For the second time in a few hundred years and a single lifetime of the fair folk.
But although the ruler of the elves Hagluin Naerynvelas wanted to end the human threat, possibly once and for all, his daughter
Gweyir Lithë Imryll asked him to look upon the humans with forgiveness. Which he did.
And so the war between the humans and the elves had ended.
