The Traveller's Companion - a guide to the realms

"The Traveller's Companion - a guide to the realms" is one of the most comprehensive and current texts on...well, almost everything! Put together by renowned scholar, historian and traveller Nathanyell Littleburye it is almost encyclopedic in its scope and a valuable resource on a wide range of topics for readers and researchers of all walks of life up to this very day.
Nathanyell Littleburye was not content to waste his days in musty reading halls and was bored by his unworldly, bookish colleagues in their academic ivory tower. He travelled the lands for decades, took painstaking notes on diverse topics and was as much interested in interesting bits of local lore as well as large philosophical themes.
What made "A traveller's companion - a guide to the realms" so unique and popular in its time, was that it was one of the first educational texts to be composed in the Common script and not in the Neosthenis Éollan, which was still used among scholars writing academic treatises. This, of course, made it largely accessible to the common folk as well. A novelty at the time.
"A traveller's companion - a guide to the realms" was published in the year 1161 and, as mentioned before, is still the most comprehensive written work on the peoples and cultures of Emeon, as well as its diverse landscapes.
