Kae Andros
The Pass of Death
The pass of Kae Andros has a long history marred by mishaps and death. Long ago, during the beginnings of the Empire, a Northman by the name of Ruhn piloted his Longboat and his crew to Temposa, on a quest to find the heart of the storm itself. In Kae Andros his expedition perished, foolishly challenging Temposa and its might. In his final plea, he prayed to Danu, Goddess of Sun and Light, to stave his frostbite. However it was Gwydion, Prince of Lies, who answered and obliged. He poisoned his mind with power, and he raised his crew from the dead. Over decades they mined through the mountains, until with undead vigour they finally found it: The Heart of Temposa. With the heart, Gwydion made Ruhn his champion and let him grow his powers as a Lich of Old. A century in that cold hell eroded all of his humanity, and he gleefully brought destruction to the civilised world in the name of the God Lies, Trickery, and Strife. It took Arran the lives of ten thousand men from his Victoria Legion to stop the threat of Ruhn and silence his lair in Kae Andros. Today, no one knows for sure what lies inside, and even the brave men of Fort Hayne avoid the eye of the storm as best as possible.
