Florens
Florens are woodland creatures. They are wild and completely attuned to nature. They share a natural instinct to protect the environment at all costs. They get along with Elves and other creatures that are attuned to nature as well.

Anatomy
Florens are short and slim. They hardly reach 1 meter in height and are very light. They are often confused with human or elven children. They have big eyes, curly hair and markings on their face that resemble the essence of nature and magic. In some instances small twings can be seen sprouting from their heads like a pair of antlers. Their natural life span varies from 100-350 years
Biological Traits
Florens have highly developed and heightened senses which enable them to better hide and survive against the worlds many predators. They also have the ability to imitate many animal calls and sounds found in nature.
Ecology and Habitats
Florens thrive in natural environments such as lush forests and fertile valleys; and typically find their communities around such places. Florens can also be found living peacefully among enclaves of elves, in particular Arbor Elves. Despite their love for nature, some Florens can also be found living in bustling cities, usually not by choice, where they often get by selling crafts and trinkets.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The digestive system of a Floren is unable to sufficiently process meats and animal products, rejecting them. Therefore the diet of Florens is one mainly of plants, fruits, vegetables, berries, seeds, and breads.
Biological Cycle
Given there naturally relaxed state, Florens tend to nap periodically rather than sleep through the night. Their natural rhythm has them awake for a few hours then asleep for about 30 minutes.

Naming Traditions
A Floren has a given name, a family name, and possibly a nickname. Family names are often nicknames that stuck so tenaciously they have been passed down through the generations. Floren names reflect the many elements found in nature, however those that dwell in larger towns and cities have since adapted theri names to suit their environment.

Florens are wild. If in danger, they display animal instincts and can be vicious. When calm, they look charismatic and carefree. They are very agile and fast and have exceptional survival skills. They are very fast in anger and not at all forgiving when it comes to crimes against nature. They share a natural hatred for anything industrial or anything that would threaten the planet. They can speak languages normally but they also communicate through noises and signals. They can also imitate perfectly sounds of animals and of nature at any time.
