Paxoral
The paxoral is the leader of a city and the highest authority within the city government. Most paxorals are elders within the city who have a long history serving in city positions. Paxorals are often highly educated and have helped pass many laws to better the city.
Barrett Ruis
While a majority of paxorals are older, there are a few instances of younger paxorals being elected, such as Barrett Ruis of Basqierf. Barrett was elected paxoral when he was 23 years old after serving in the city's armed guard and being a citizen on the city council. With his familiy's long history of public service to the city, and starting his career at a young age, Barrett's election came as no surprise to the citizens of Basqierf.Qualifications
Most Paxorals are city elders with years of experience serving in the city council. They are often well educated and have the trust of the people.

- Have resided within the city for 10 years
- Previously served in the city council
- Be elected to the position
Appointment
Every six years the city holds elections for the Paxoral position. There is no term limit for the position, and most Paxorals will serve many terms.
Duties
Paxorals are often seen throughout the city at all major public events. They visit the city guards once a week to raise their moral and keep them up to standard.
Responsibilities
Paxorals are required to approve anyone appointed to a city position. They oversee the city council and are the highest authority within the city.
Accoutrements & Equipment
Paxorals are required to wear a sash with the city emblem when at public events. They also wear a saber to symbolize their status as defender of the city.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Paxorals are able to be removed from office if there is a majority vote of 75% or more from the city council.
