"The oldest, most elegant, and most prosperous city in the world, all thrives thousands of feet above the ground." -DyuNvek, the oldest known city in Caladrius, soars above Phiero , mingling with the clouds. A strong base supports the metropolis, using reflective technology to hide it from the ground. Towers stand tall through the streets, carved from pure silver, marble, gypsum, or quartz. In the heart of the town sitsthe Kmoiuy Flight Academy. Every natural born resident must go through the academy before they become legal adults. Cloud Drops grow throughout the city and are the city's official symbol. Painted Willows are commonly found in the city's many parks and provide wonderful relief from the day's work. Portraits of the Damned can be found on many buildings especially Government towers. On the rim of Nvek sits the The Church of Light, secluded from the busy life. In the address sector resides the Library of Crigh.
"For my life and soul shall be given to the sky, even in death." -Jax SmithensJax Smithens, the youngest Paxoral in Nvek, rules with a gentle hand. Elected at only 19 years old, he has served 6 years of his ten year term. He is the 618th Paxoral of Nvek, yet has one of the highest approval ratings in the city's history. He has added at least 75 miles to Nvek's base and life has flourished. It is said that Nvek's Legal General has plans to amend the rules, allowing him to serve more terms.
Joining the Clouds
"I saw this little town, facing the horrors of the Earth where I could not protect them, so I blessed Nvek. That little village that had the potential to be great, shall fly with me, safe in the clouds." -KmoiuyDuring 65 AT, Nvek was not the large, strong Metropolis it is today. The village was comprised of a measly 275 people and the numbers were constantly dwindling due to Moiya attacks. While their efforts were courageous, it was all futile. Their annihilation was imminent and therefore no advancements were happening as they did in the rest of Caladrius. Fortunately, their patron Kmoiuy could not bear to see their devoted settlement destroyed and blessed the town. This enchantment raised the village into the sky, hundreds of miles above its enemies. Since then Nvek has flourished and is one of the top cities in Caladrius spanning hundreds of miles above Phiero. The Church of Light was then officially established and has spread to other parts of Caladrius.
Geography
Unlike most cities, Nvek has made its home far above the rest of the world. The people have made their once small town into a bustling hub resting on a large platform. To make up for the lack of natural geography, their advanced technology has allowed them to harness clouds as land for farming and leisure activities.
Ecosystem
Despite the high altitude, life has flourished in Nvek. Plants thrive throughout the city. in the Agriculture District, Cloud farmers produce tons of crop per year, able to feed the ever growing population. Painted Willows and Cloud Drops are the most common species found naturally growing throughout the metropolis.

A host to many species of birds, Nvek is bustling with non-human life.
