Identifying Characteristics
Ethan's most identifying feature, is the large, black navar tattoo that covers the length of his right arm. The head of the beast starting at his shoulder, and its tail ending at his fingers.
Special abilities
Ethan is a powerful spellcaster having been personally trained by both Simon and Dyu. He has also received instruction from the other Damned to fully hone his abilities.

Personal history
Born to Naomia Herstan and Garreth Herstan, Ethan was born in the city surrounding Peisted, Xythmbrg on Viridis 9th, 3878. After the birth of his sister Viola, Ethan’s parents decided to move to Nvek to raise them in the faith of the Damned. During his early schooling, Ethan accidentally tripped and was revealed to be Bloodied. Although in Nvek, while many priests begged his parents to allow them to school him, Ethan was sent to The Home so he could be amongst more like him and have access to better training. At 10, Ethan arrived at the Home and was taken in by Simon Baker. In his early days there, Simon took great interest in his potential abilities, allotting a great deal of time to personally train him. After a great deal of time, Ethan had still not shown any sign of abilities, and eventually Simon gave up any hope of finding out which Damned had chosen him. When he was 12, he met Ronnie and the pair quickly became great friends.One day, when Ethan was 14, he was sitting in the library when he felt a strong presence tug at his core. As magic exploded from him, the alarm was sounded at The Home and he was soon surrounded. Forced to flee, Ethan returned home to Nvek.
Education
As a young boy in Nvek, Ethan attended the city's Academy for Young Boys where he learned basic schooling as well as beginning flight training. When he arrived at The Home, Simon personally tutored Ethan in the beginning, introducing him to the basis of spellwork and ancient histories. After a while in the home, and Simon ending his private tutoring, Ethan began taking an interst in magical theory and became an excelled student there. When he came into his power and was chosen by Dyu, Ethan returned home to Nvek where he attended the Kmoiuy Flight Academy. Once he had finished his basic schooling, Ethan traveled to Eural where he received extensive training from Dyu and the other Damned in order to prepare to release them from Eural.

Ethan is incredibly close with his younger sister Viola, having taken it up himself on training her in self defence and spellwork. He is also still close with his parents, yet they are not as close as he and his sister.
Relationships
History
Ethan is the current bearer of the magic amulet, making him Dyu's chosen. Dyu was banished with his heart so no one was able to bear his amulet. Dyu reached through the barrier between dimensions and bestowed his power upon Ethan when he was 14, knowing that he would be the way to freedom. When Simond found out, he tried to claim Ethan's power for his own and, through Dyu, Ethan was able to flee the home and into the other dimension. Ethan is trying to free the damned and Dyu had begun training him in the oldest ways of magic.
