Ardunan Social War
The Ardunan Social War (formerly known as the First Civil War) was a Fourth Age military conflict waged from 834 to 841 within the Kingdom of Ardun between autocratic loyalists, who pledged their allegiance to King Tristan III; and parliamentarians, who rallied behind Prince Alric for political reform to empower a democratically elected parliament. The conflict was part of a larger wave of Liberal revolutions sweeping through the Heartland Nations, and was the first to escalate into open civil war.
