Realm of The Guard and The Ferrywoman

The pocket realm known as Beyond The Veil is where many Caeterian's believe the afterlife exists. It is here that The Ferrywoman brings the souls of the departed, and The Guard crafts for each them an afterlife. Very few have stepped foot here and returned. Those that do often remember little, if any, of the experience.

Geography

The geography of this realm is reported to be constantly shifting and changing, controlled as it it by the whims of The Guard. Those who come here most often never see the true form of the landscape, as they are held in their own afterlives. What little reports do exist say that The Guard seems to prefer an appearance of cut stone labyrinths, with molten rock oozing from the joints between stones.
