Steps:
- Select Careers (select 8 skills - start with 1 rank in 4 career skills)
- Invest XP (starting XP based on species)
- Improving Characteristic: XP = 10x the value of the new rank. Can't go beyond 5. (Must be done sequentially;E.g. 3-to-4, and then 4-to-5)
- Skill Training: max starting rank = 2. Cost for career skills XP = 5x new rank. Non-career skill cost (5x +5XP) new rank.
- Talents: 5x the tier in XP. Must have more of next lower tier to get talent (2 Tier 1s, to get 1 Tier 2 [Link to list of Talents: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QHnCoKqFMWLiMz9k0sqcias1oXy6lgyS )
- Determine Derived Attributes:
- Wound Threshold: Based on species Wound Threshold formula. (X + Brawn). Increases to Brawn post-character creation do not increase Wound Threshold.
- Strain Threshold: Based on species Strain Threshold formula. (X + Willpower). Increases to Willpower post-character creation do not increase Strain Threshold.
- Soak: Equal to Brawn (modified by gear; E.g Chainmail = +2 Soak). Increases to Brawn (at any time) DOES increase Soak.
- Determine Motivations:
- - Desires, Fears, Strengths, Flaws.
- Select Equipment Tables , complete flavor if not done (description, personality, etc.)
- Select Languages
- Select Source Ability if a Sourcerer
