Geography

The Rodiac Highlands stretch across eastern Striror with ancient, wind-swept plateaus, steep terraced mountains, and iron-rich crags. Layers of sedimentary and volcanic rock give the range a multicolored, striated look. Echoes travel for miles through hollow stone corridors and cavern networks.

Mythical and Magical Significance

Home to the legendary Stonecarvers’ Forge, where enchanted anvils are said to shape metals blessed by the gods. The leyline-powered forge draws upon ancient runes, and many believe its fires were sparked by Inavi, the God of the Forge and Earth.

Cultural Importance

Dwarves, rune-shamans, and stone mystics consider the Rodiac Highlands sacred ground. The Forge is both a religious site and a functional heart of dwarven society in Striror. Apprentices train for decades just to touch the runes upon the forge anvils.

Strategic Role

The Rodiac Highlands are fiercely defended. Whoever controls them holds access to rare rune-infused ore, spellbound alloys, and the mountain’s protective terrain. Multiple strongholds are carved directly into the cliffsides.
