Striror’s ecosystems vary greatly, from the tundra in the far north, where few life forms survive, to the dense pine forests of the central regions. Coastal fjords support marine life, while mountain ranges provide habitats for hardy fauna and creatures adapted to thin air and low temperatures. Each ecosystem is tightly knit to the land’s extreme climate and seasonal cycles.

Ecosystem Cycles

The seasonal cycle is marked by long, harsh winters and brief but bountiful summers. Many creatures go into hibernation, while others migrate to milder regions during winter. The frostpine forests shed needles to conserve water, and iceberry bushes go dormant until spring. Winter solstices are significant for the people of Striror, marking a time of spiritual reflection.
