Overview

King Branoc was the legendary ruler of Tarnith who forged the The Pact of the Fey-King with Queen Lyris, the Blooming Empress. He is remembered not just as a warrior-king, but as a visionary who recognized that survival would come not through conquest, but through harmony with the wild forces beyond the veil.   Facing annihilation during the War of Otherworlds, Branoc entered the Feywild alone, returned with the Emerald Sigil]Emerald Sigil, and secured Tarnith’s future through a sacred bond with the fey.  

Legacy

  Founded the line of Wardens of the Verdant Veil   Inspired the traditions later upheld by the The Knights of the Emerald Flame   Some say his blood still flows through Tarnith’s nobility, especially those who dream of star-songs and fey voices  

Personality & Depiction

Often depicted in murals and tapestries wearing a crown of silverleaf and ivy, Branoc was known for his conviction, wisdom, and ability to unite disparate tribes. Legends say his voice could calm storms and that the land itself bent to listen when he spoke.  

Relics Associated

  The Emerald Sigil – Symbol of the pact   Rooted Crown – His original circlet, said to bloom anew when a worthy heir appears
